SEN TA (1:1 Support) - Primary School Bolton

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child's educational journey? Tradewind is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a primary-aged pupil in Bolton, starting September 2025.

What the role involves:

• Working one-to-one with a pupil who has specific SEN needs, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom activities.
• Helping to implement and review an Individual Education Plan (IEP), tracking progress and celebrating milestones.
• Providing both academic and personal support-during lessons, break times, and where needed for personal care.
• Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop strategies that enhance inclusion.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Hold a Level?2/3 TA qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable experience supporting children with special educational needs.
• Patience, strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive mindset.
• Enhanced DBS clearance, or the willingness to obtain one.
