Full-Time PE Teacher Needed - September Start in Hatfield, Hertfordshire (1-Year Contract)
Are you a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire is seeking a full-time Physical Education Teacher to join their team from September on a one-year contract (September 2025 to August 2026). For the right candidate, there is the potential to move into a permanent role from September 2026 or sooner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a school where small class sizes (2 to 8 students) allow you to build strong relationships, tailor your teaching, and make a lasting impact. Following recent staffing changes, the school is eager to appoint someone who can bring passion, structure, and leadership to the PE department.
What We're Looking For:
UK QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
At least one year of experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
Ability to deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Strong classroom management and a proactive attitude
Full-time availability from September 2025 through August 2026
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
A genuine passion for sport, health, and inspiring young people
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Legal right to work in the UK
